Our first Redington Beach Public Safety Day was held on Saturday, October 23rd, 2021 and featured the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, the Madeira Beach Fire Department and Sunstar Paramedics.  With the success of the first ever Public Safety Day, we are planning to host this event again next year.

Police and Fire

Police: Redington Beach contracts with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Department for round-the-clock police protection. In an emergency, Dial 911. For non-emergency calls, the number is 727-582-6200.

Fire/EMS: Seminole and Madeira Beach Fire Departments provide the town's fire protection. In an emergency, Dial 911. For non-emergency calls, the number is 727-393-8711.

On March 1, 2003, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) became part of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The primary mission of the Federal Emergency Management Agency is to reduce the loss of life and property and protect the Nation from all hazards, including natural disasters, acts of terrorism, and other man-made disasters, by leading and supporting the Nation in a risk-based, comprehensive emergency management system of preparedness, protection, response, recovery, and mitigation.
