Qualifying Period Opens

Have you ever considered running for a position on the Town Commission?
 
The Town of Redington Beach holds elections on the second Tuesday in March of each year, or in conjunction with a Presidential Preference Primary. Commissioners and the Mayor are elected for staggered two-year terms. Members of the Board of Commissioners and the Mayor shall be qualified electors of the Town and shall be residents of the Town for at least one (1) year prior to election.

This year 2 Commission seats are up for election:
Commissioner Tim Kornijtschuk
Commissioner Jim Murray

 
Qualifying period opens on Friday, December 5th, 2025 at 9am and closes on Friday, December 19th, 2025 at 1pm.  Potential candidates must come to Town Hall to obtain a candidacy packet. 
 
The next municipal election (if needed) will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.
